Street Art Camp—July 6-10
Get out of the studio in Street Art Camp! In this painting-drawing-printmaking focused summer camp, young artists will design their own “street name and logo.” We will learn about ways to exhibit our work under our new identity using guerrilla art installation tactics. As creators of street art, we will experiment with acrylic-based kid-friendly spray paint on canvas, poster/flyer/sticker design and distribution, public textile art and sculpture installation, mixed media painting and drawing, font design, and temporary chalk art.
Camp activities include drawing, spray painting, writing, graphic design, sculpture, printmaking, stenciling, installation and local art distribution.
*Street Art Camp will embark on daily walks and explorations to maximize our time spent outdoors in and around the Seascape Village and Beach. We will emphasize ways to create guerrilla art safely and temporarily without trespassing or destroying personal property. All materials provided.
