Frequently asked questions.
I’m a first-time student. Can I join any session?
Yes! We’ll be covering a wide-variety of topics and art mediums throughout the year including printmaking, papermaking, collage, mapping, found object sculpture, painting and more. Student art projects are self-led by personal interest.
How do you handle food allergies?
We are a nut-free school. Students are invited to bring their own snacks but we ask that snacks not contain peanuts or tree nuts. If your child has any food allergies, asthma or any medical or special needs, please let Ross know when you sign up and reach out to him with any questions.
How do you handle EpiPens or emergency medication?
Please give Ross any EpiPens, inhalers/spacers or emergency medications at the beginning of each class. Students should take medications home at the end of each class. Ross is CPR certified and also knows first-hand from personal experience how to administer both EpiPens and inhalers with spacers.
Where are the classes held?
All classes are held at 34 Seascape Village in Aptos, CA, on the second floor. It’s directly above South Point Seascape Taproom & Coffee House. There is plenty of parking. Walking and exploration will be held around Seascape Village and across the street at Seascape Beach.
Is psychogeography a type of psychological therapy?
No. Ross is a trained artist and educator. He is not trained in psychotherapy. His school is providing art education.
Do you offer adult classes?
Yes! We regularly offer adult classes as well as custom workshops for groups or families.
