PLACE & PRINTMAKING: Central Coast themed Printmaking and Drawing MONDAYS, March 17 - April 21, Evenings 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. (Adults 18+)
In this Central Coast-themed studio art class students will learn several techniques in printmaking including monotype, drypoint etching, and relief techniques. We will print by hand as well as use the in-studio etching press. We will gain skills in drawing, transferring images to printmaking plates, printing unique prints and editioned prints.
The School of Psychogeographic Arts will provide all materials needed. Students are welcome to bring their own supplies as well.
Beginners and all levels of experience welcome!
This class will not be taking regular outdoor walks. Students will be encouraged to bring in their own “Central Coast” visual references to draw and print from.
