SUMMER CAMP 6 - August 4-8, Murals and Mosaics (Going into Grades 4-8), 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Can drop off as early as 8:45 a.m.)
Piece-by-peice, become a maker of Murals and Mosaics! Express your ideas in both large and small scale works of art through wall painting on individual canvases, found object mosaics, and plaster fresco painting. Young artists and will explore and collect materials such as stones, sea glass, wood, and other found objects from the Seascape to use in their beautiful mosaics. Activities include: beach collecting, sketching and drawing, drawing transfers, acrylic painting on canvas, fresco painting, and collaborative painting.
Young artists will participate and gain studio skills in drawing, design, assemblage, fresco, acrylic and watercolor painting.
*Murals and Mosaics Camp will embark on daily walks and spend outdoor time exploring a variety of terrain on and around the Seascape Beach.
